LWM was born on November 12, 2006. On that very day, we were celebrating the first prayer meeting held at Pastor’s house in Bounds Green. About ten people had attended that prayer meeting. However, on Friday of the same week, a first meeting took place in order to lay down the foundations of the new congregation.

During that period, all the spiritual teachings were focused on the relationship with God, with men and women. This relationship is maintained through a very small number of constant values, such as love, patience, perseverance and the focus on Jesus.

For the three first weeks, the attendance to our Sunday service was on the rise, and the Pastor’s house could no longer accommodate everybody. That is why we had to find a bigger prayer room that was made available thanks to God, in the Willesden Green Library Centre. The first service was took place there with twenty people or so in attendance. The Sunday attendance has been on the rise ever since…

We had to come up with a plan for the spiritual growth of the church. We started at first with a general strengthening programme for all our members. Later on, we carried on with the participation to the intercession prayers, before the leadership training. At the end of all this, we set up and made known the church spiritual and administrative structures.
