Our Mission
Light of the World Ministries’ mission is to proclaim the gospel to the nations in order to win lost souls for the kingdom of heaven.

Declaration of our mission
Enlighten the darkness of the world with the uncompromising word of God to the end of the earth.

Statement of faith

At the Light of the World we believe in:

The Trinity
In one God Creator of all things, there is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Mat 28:19)

Jesus Christ
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the son of God. We believe in His virgin birth, His death on the cross, His resurrection from the dead and His ascension to the right hand of God the Father

The Bible
The bible is the inspired word of God (2 Tim 3:16), which is a lamp to our feet and a light in our path (Ps 119:105).

The Salvation
Salvation is a free gift from God, which we receive through faith in Jesus Christ and the generative work of the Holy Spirit (Eph 2:5-8)

The Baptism
Baptism by immersion which is an outward symbol of one who has surrendered to Christ (Rom 6:3-5) and baptism in the Holy Spirit for all believers, with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Act 2:4).

Gifts of the Holy Spirit
There are diversities of gifts but the same Spirit (1 Cor 12:4-11)

The Church
The universal church is the Body of Christ consisting of all persons who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and made new creations in Christ Jesus.

The second coming of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ will soon return in a personal and visible manner to receive His church.

Body temple of God
The body of a Christian is the temple of God as such it is not to be defiled by such things as alcohol, tobacco, drugs, fornication, adultery or wrong eating habits. (1Cor 3: 16-17)

Governing authorities
The authorities that exist are appointed by God (this does not suggest that God approves corrupt governments, ungodly officials, or unjust legislation. Although obedience to earthly authority is the general rule, however we may need to disobey government if commanded to sin, for loyalty to God takes priority over all human authority. (Rom 13: 1-3 / Esther 4:16)
